The Office

I am patiently waiting here for the new season of 'The Office' to come onto the small screen on Thursday, September 23, 2010 9/8c. There has been lots of buzz concerning this season, in particular the controversy of Steve Carell's departure as reluctant, but naive, Regional Manager of Dunder-Mifflin Inc: A Division of Sabre, Michael Scott.
I, like most people, are wondering what is going to happen to Michael Scott. Is he going to be replaced with someone outside  of the office? Is he going to be replaced with someone within the office? How will the story unfold? Well, from rumors and sources that I've heard, possible replacements for Scott are the guy from 'National Treasure' Harvey something, Barack Obama (Wtf?), Steve Colbert, and of course, Betty White. But from what I've been hearing through OfficeTally is that Michael will leave with Holly Flax, (HR Rep for Dunder-Mifflin Nashua, New Hampshire), and will return to NH. But things are still up in the air.
I really can't wait for the season as a whole to start! Pam reverts back to her old hairstyle, a little classy and edgy at the same time. Even Jim comes back as "more playful" and will pull more pranks on Dwight. Oh yea, and as for Dwight, he seems to have bought the Dunder-Mifflin building....I wonder how that will play out. Ryan will be moving forward with his 'Woof' and Andy will be performing in the Scranton Community Play 'Sweeney Todd.' Michael finds out he has herpes and confronts every woman he's been with (which is what, like 6 women?) It'll be one hellava season! And Zach Woods, Gabe Lewis VIP, will be promoted to a series regular.

Cast of Characters:

Steve Carell- Michael Gary Scott: The naive boss who thinks of himself as a friend first, boss second "and probably an entertainer third." He is incompatent and delusional and basically is a big child at heart. He knows his way to get to a sale but is the worst boss in the world. He will be departing after the seventh season of 'The Office.'

Rainn Wilson- Dwight K. Schrute III: A cunning and very smart, moon-faced moron. Dwight is a salesman at Dunder-Mifflin and a very good one at that. He is a skillful worker and a kiss-ass. He does whatever his boss tells him, and normally sticks with him no matter what. Dwight is reluctant in his ways to get something and he never backs down from a challenge. He owns a 60-acre beet farm where he grows beets...and weed.

John Krasinski- James Duncan Halpert: The slacker, easy working salesman. Jim is less enthusiastic about his work ethics and isn't an efficient person. Jim had a crush on fellow co-worker Pam Beesly, who was already engaged to another co-worker. The two eventually get married and bear a child named Cecelia Marie. Jim is witty and an office "sweet-heart" and every woman of the office (probably with the exception of Angela) has had attraction to him.

Jenna Fischer- Pamela Morgan Halpert (nee Beesly)- the 'then' receptionist of Dunder-Mifflin. Pam, in season one, was unaware of Jim's feelings toward her and thought of him as her best friend. By season 2, she felt more attration toward him, and by season 4, they were dating. Pam, like Jim, is less enthusiastic about her work. After season 5, she was promoted to saleswoman (a job both she and Ryan were up for) and Ryan was demoted to temp. Pam respects Michael and wishes him well, except for when he was dating her mother. Pam is very in-touch with herself and loves to draw.

B.J. Novak- Ryan Bailey Howard- The reluctant temp of the office. Ryan isn't as big of a character than the four previous mentioned characters, but he is still an important part of the show. Ryan was promoted to CEO of Dunder-Mifflin in season 4, but lost it all because of being arrested. He became a salesman at the Michael Scott Paper Co. and then temp at Dunder-Mifflin. He caused such a distraction that he was sent into a closet to do his work. He is currently working on a website called 'Woof' that allows you to connect all your social networking sources into one so that whenever you receive a 'woof,' then it is sent via Facebook, Twitter, faxing, call, etc.

Ed Helms-Walter (Andrew) Baines Bernard (Jr.): Beginning in season 3 as an employee of Dunder-Mifflin Stamford, Andy is a colorful, cheerful, and ambitious worker of Dunder-Mifflin. Reminding Michael of Easter, Andy is a very spacious dresser, ranging from things that would be worn in the 1970s. Andy is very strained and has an anger problem. He is sent to anger-management classes to fix all of this, which thankfully, works. He is the one who found out that the Sabre printers do catch on fire, with the help of his co-worker, Darryl Philbin (Craig Robinson). In season 7, Andy is performing in the Scranton Community Play "Sweeney Tood: The Demon Barber on Fleet Street." He was promoted to a main cast member in the season 6 episode: "Sabre."

Angela Kinsey- Angela Noelle Martin: Angela is a very open-minded, but, weak person. She enjoys to play with her cats and read the Bible. She has frequently had relationships with Dwight and Andy, and was engaged to Andy, before cheating on him with Dwight. Angela has only one friend in the office (Pam), though Phyllis (Phyllis Smith) states that she and Angela are close. Angela is intolerant of stupidity and immorality, and is frequently annoyed by fellow co-worker, accountant Kevin Malone (Brian Baumgartner). As of season 6, she and Dwight have a contract that states that the two must have a child, or she will sue him. She is not yet a main cast member, just a series regular.
